  About us

Oriole Newgass set up Legal-IM in September 2003 to work as an independent consultant, following 22 years in the information business, in pharmaceutical, biomedical, banking and legal firms.

Legal-IM’s work has included membership resources for the Association for Project Management, online database design for Headfast, and legal research projects for clients in Europe and the USA. 

The Industrial & Commercial Libraries Group has been chaired by Oriole since 2005.  With its very able & dedicated Committee it is repositioning itself with a stronger marketing & commercial focus. This year ICLG was a first-time exhibitor at Online Information 2006. 

Oriole was appointed in May 2006 to the Governance Review Taskforce set up by CILIP Council and Trustees to overhaul the Institute’s governance and structure.
